Summer Fundraising Campaign:

Halfway to $8,500 challenge match

This year a group of generous longtime supporters contributed $8,500 towards a challenge match to inspire us to raise $17,000 to help fund our education and citizen science programs. We are about halfway to meeting the match and have until August 31st.

This year, as part of honoring our 40th anniversary, we are highlighting one of our core values: multi-generational learning.

Take Quinton Coley. He began exploring the Salish Sea with his grandpa, Peter Badame, who was one of the first PTMSC staffers. Quinton, now 12, has attended summer camp every year since he was five.

Help us reach our challenge match! And thank you for your support.

A NOTE ABOUT OUR
REDUCED HOURS IN 2022

We have been careful to plan our public exhibit schedule based on the health and well-being of our volunteers and staff. As more volunteers return to their roles at PTMSC and new volunteers join us, we will reevaluate our capacity for additional public hours. We hope you will bring your family and friends to visit on the weekends or join us for our summer activities such as a low tide beach walk or one of our "pop-up events" in the community. If you are interested in volunteering please contact our Volunteer Program Coordinator, Tracy Thompson, volunteer@ptmsc.org.
