Kaleidoscope from the Sea with Shelby Silver

Inspired by all of the many pieces of plastic floating in our oceans, this in-person class focuses on marine science debris. Artist Shelby Silver will be joined by a staff educator from the Port Townsend Marine Science Center.

This program will bring together science and an art-making activity that focuses on marine science debris as a vibrant, textured, and unique material.

This class will be conducted by Northwind Art.

Join us for a guided walk on the beach at low tide and learn how animals survive and thrive in the intertidal zone.

Following the spirit of community science, THE ART OF WATER PROJECT honors public scholarship and carries that inclusivity into the realm of the arts & humanities.

We welcome displaying your creative work in the online gallery: theartofwater.global

Exhibits include: Music, Material Art, Photography, Performance, Film, and Written Verse.
