For a limited time, the entire skeleton of CRC-1524, a gray whale that died in 2016, is on view at Flagship Landing in the PTMSC gallery. Volunteers and staff have been preparing the skeleton for articulation.

The skeleton came to PTMSC as a result of a stranding event to which PTMSC responded as part of the NOAA's Marine Mammal Stranding Network, and thanks to NOAA Fisheries, PTMSC is allowed to use the skeleton for educational purposes.

Volunteers will be on hand to share information about these remarkable marine mammals and their lives in the Salish Sea on Thursdays - Saturdays from 1-3:30pm.
